To enhance services for families, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new and efficient process for obtaining Juvenile Identity Cards (JV) for children under the age of 18. This chip-based card, distinct from the Child Registration Certificate (CRC), serves as an entitled document with multiple benefits.

To apply for the Juvenile Card, parents or blood relatives with a valid National Identity Card (NIC) must visit any NADRA Registration Center (NRC). Unfortunately, the online application facility is currently unavailable, necessitating a physical visit to the NRC.

NADRA Juvenile Card Application Process

Token Issuance:

Upon arrival at the NRC, applicants will be issued a token to streamline the process.

Biometric Data Collection:

A professional photograph will be captured.
Fingerprints and signatures of the child will be collected.

Data Entry and Form Printing:

Necessary data entry will be completed, and the application form will be printed for review.

Form Submission:

Applicants will receive a printed version of the application form.
The form should be submitted to the relevant NRC after attestation by a blood relative or a gazetted officer.

NADRA Juvenile Card Delivery Time

There are three delivery options available, each with varying processing times:

Normal Processing: 31 days
Urgent Processing: 23 days
Fast Track Processing: 9 days (Includes queue priority at NRCs for immediate processing)

It is essential to note that the processing time begins after the submission of the attested form.
