No More Lines! Sindh Launches Online Property Registration for Faster, Easier Process.

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has given the green light to the Registration (Sindh Amendment) Ordinance 2024, ushering in a convenient online property registration process facilitated by the Board of Revenue.

In a significant move, individuals can now effortlessly submit their property registration applications and documents to the Board of Revenue from the comfort of their homes or any location of their choice. The submitted documents will undergo seamless online verification, drawing data directly from the database.

Following the successful verification of documents, applicants will receive timely notifications through SMS or email, prompting them to proceed with the payment of fees or taxes. Kamran Khan Tessori, by signing the ordinance, has ensured its immediate implementation throughout the province, utilizing the authority vested in him by Clause (1) of Article 128 of the Constitution of Pakistan.

This transformative measure not only streamlines the property registration process but also enhances accessibility for the residents of Sindh. The Governor’s office has embraced digital solutions to empower citizens and bring efficiency to governmental procedures.

In a related development on January 28, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori unveiled another welfare initiative, announcing the sponsorship of Hajj and Umrah expenses for individuals aged 75 and above who have not embarked on the sacred pilgrimage in their lifetime.

Addressing the media at the Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad, Governor Tessori urged eligible elderly citizens to register with the Governor House for this unique opportunity. The selection process for the pilgrimage will be conducted through a fair balloting system, allowing the chosen individuals to fulfill their spiritual aspirations at the holy mosques.
